NAKIVO is a backup and disaster recovery solution for virtual, physical and cloud-based environments. The platform handles backup, replication and recovery of servers, virtual machines and Microsoft 365 data.
Backup is an area where what matters isn't how well the backup works, but how well the recovery does. Many people only discover the difference the day they need to restore something, and that is a bad time to learn.
Multi-level recovery
NAKIVO can recover at the level the situation requires: an entire system, a single virtual machine, a file or an individual object in Microsoft 365.
It sounds like a detail, but it determines how often the solution is actually used. If the only way to get back a deleted email is to restore an entire server, no one will do it – and then the backup doesn't solve the most common problem.
Why organizations choose NAKIVO
Strong in virtual environments. Image-based backup and replication of virtual machines is the core of the platform.
Fast recovery. Systems can be started directly from backup instead of being copied back first.
Microsoft 365 is also covered. Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint are secured in the same solution as the infrastructure.
Immutable backup. Copies that cannot be changed or deleted for a set period – which is what actually protects against ransomware. An attacker who reaches your systems will look for the backup first.
Verification. Backups are checked so that you know they can be restored before you need them.

What NAKIVO does that others don't
We carry several backup solutions, and they each have their own strengths.
NAKIVO's specialty is the depth of its virtualized environments. If your business is built on virtual machines—with replication, rapid recovery, and requirements for minimal downtime—this is where the platform truly shines.
MSP360, on the other hand, is built around cloud storage and is better suited for distributed environments with many different types of devices. Impossible Cloud is not an alternative to either of them, but rather the storage destination where backups can be written.
Multisourcing – our strategy as a distributor
We have deliberately chosen to carry multiple vendors in each category rather than representing just one. This is the foundation of how we build our portfolio.
This is especially true for backup. Environments vary more here than in most other areas, and a solution that is excellent for a virtualized server room might be completely wrong for a hundred distributed clients.
It also provides a practical advantage: you can switch products without switching partners. If a vendor raises their prices, changes their packaging, or gets acquired, the alternatives are already available through us, with the same contracting party, the same support, and the same contact person.
We are a distributor, not a reseller
MSP Nordics distributes NAKIVO in the Nordic region. We assist you with licensing, setting up backup jobs, and choosing storage targets – as well as the part that is most often skipped: actually testing the recovery.
A backup that has never been tested is a hope, not a protection. We help you establish recovery tests as a routine instead of an exercise you always plan to do next quarter.
Support in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and English.
Frequently asked questions about NAKIVO
How much does NAKIVO cost?
Licensing is per protected workload, such as per virtual machine, server, or Microsoft 365 user. Get in touch and we will calculate the cost for your environment.
Do we need separate backup for Microsoft 365?
Yes, and more people need it than realize it. Microsoft is responsible for the availability of the service, not for restoring data that you have deleted yourself or lost due to a compromised account.
Where is the backup stored?
You choose: locally, in your own environment, or to cloud storage. Many use Impossible Cloud as a target when the data needs to remain within Europe.
What does immutable backup mean?
It means that copies cannot be changed or deleted for a set period, not even by an administrator. This is why they survive a ransomware attack.
Can we use it for multiple customers?
Yes, the platform handles multiple environments and is used by many MSPs.
How do we know that the recovery works?
By testing it. NAKIVO has built-in backup verification, and we are happy to help you set up recovery tests as a recurring routine.
